Start before you’re ready.
The truth is, if you wait until you feel ready… you’ll never begin. So do it now. Action creates confidence. It tells your brain you’re moving, you’re growing, you’re capable. That’s far more powerful than sitting still and overthinking.
Action is good. No action is not.
One small action repeated consistently for a year can create massive change. I saw a quote recently that gave me so much insight. It said:
Being ready is a myth.
You start.
You suck.
You figure it out.
You get better.
That’s exactly where I am.
I wrote one book and I’m going to write another. I’ve set aside time to write for my blog so I can sharpen my skills for future books. I want to get paid to speak to people, so I show up on social media every day to exercise that muscle. Every post is practice. Every video is a rep.
Am I perfect? No. Not even close.
But passion will carry you where perfection never could. My passion is motivating me to show up anyway. To be seen. To improve in public. To grow out loud.
And every single day, I’m getting better.
