I read something about Superman that when people started to get bored, they kept adding new superpowers to keep him interesting.
And honestly… that’s a shame.
Because it suggests that what already existed wasn’t enough. That you have to keep adding, reinventing, and piling on just to keep people’s attention.
But we’re not Superman.
We don’t need a long list of abilities to be valuable, interesting, or impactful.
We need focus.
There is power in identifying the one thing that comes naturally to you the thing that feels like your lane and committing to it. Not abandoning it every time you think you need to be more, do more, or impress more.
Focus on your superpower.
For me, it’s writing.
And what I’ve noticed is this when I stayed consistent with writing, it started to open doors I didn’t expect. Writing turned into seeing scripts. Scripts turned into seeing movies. Movies turned into envisioning public speaking.
All of that came from one thing.
That’s how it works.
When you stay rooted in your gift, it begins to expand. It multiplies. It creates pathways you didn’t even plan for but it all traces back to that one foundation.
So you don’t need to keep adding more just to be seen.
Stay focused.
Stay committed.
Stay rooted in what’s already in you.
Because you’re not meant to be everything.
You’re meant to fully become the one thing you were given and let it grow from there.
