I’m over the fear of being seen trying over and over again.
Trying, changing my mind, starting something new, stopping something that no longer fits… that’s part of life. We grow by moving, by experimenting, by learning along the way. It’s okay to change your mind. It’s okay to start again.
It’s also okay for people to see it.
For a long time, I like many people was afraid to be seen in the messy parts. The restarting. The failing. The getting back up. The falling again. We want people to see the highlights of our lives, the polished parts where everything looks like it came together smoothly.
But that’s not real life.
Life has curves, ups and downs, pauses, and restarts. It’s rarely a straight line.
So why are we so afraid to let people see us learning?
What is the point of growth if we hide the process? What is the point of going through challenges if we pretend we never struggled to get through them?
There is something powerful about letting people witness the journey not just the outcome. It shows that growth is real, that progress takes effort, and that becoming who we are meant to be is rarely a smooth path.
So let people see you try.
Let them see you learn.
Let them see you begin again.
Because the courage to keep showing up imperfect and evolving is what real life looks like.
